I am always looking for a recipe that will make large quantities sometimes– especially when I bake.  I feel that when I bake something I need to make sure to have enough for not just my own greedy family but also for my co-workers (which are like family), my sister (the one who lives down the street from me), and friends.

If you think about it that’s quite a tribe right there!  Of course the majority of the time they ALL are always asking me to bake something…anything.  They don’t care as long as its sweet, delicious and satisfying.

2018, year for SUCCESS

2 Jan 2018 In: Thoughts

2018 is here!

For so many that means a new year resolution.  A new goal. A new start.

For me it means a new word.  A word that I will focus on all year, and make happen.  This year 2018 means SUCCESS!  Success in so many aspects in my life.  Business wise, Family wise, Health wise. Faith wise.

If you are still thinking about what you want 2018 to be for you keep searching for an answer.  Never stop dreaming for what you want or working to attain your goals.

“If you can dream it, then you can do it!”– never forget that!

Take a few moments and thing about what you see in the next 12 months.

Let me know what your word for the year is?

Turkey week is here…

21 Nov 2017 In: holidays

Thanksgiving is a few days away and I am so excited.  Thanksgiving is my all time favorite holiday… I don’t know if its because of all the food we eat and make (which probably is the reason) BUT… I love the smells, the feel of the holiday, the colors and coming together with family and friends and being thankful of one another.

I start preparing my Thanksgiving meal weeks in advance and have a countdown of when to prep items and purchase as well.  This year my husbands family is coming in town and we are all gathering at my in-laws house.  We set-up our Menu weeks ago and of course we all claim what we are bringing for extravaganza, because we always have more than enough food and PLUS nothing is better than Thanksgiving leftovers.  I love Thanksgiving so much that because I’m not hosting it this year I am making a small turkey for us to have for our house so I can do so many things with after…

Here’s a handy guide for food to have (whether your making it all or having others bring) to go by if you are hosting Thanksgiving at home:  Read the rest of this entry »

This crescent breakfast ring will become everyone’s favorite weekend breakfast choice!

If it was possible to live on carbs alone I think I would do it?  of course the ultimate ending answer would be that I wouldn’t end up being 500 pounds if I did…

I remember my mom would make these crescents rolls with cheese inside and bake them.  They would be the absolute best things to eat for breakfast before school.  I make the same things for my kids. Read the rest of this entry »
