A Little Bit About Me

Hi Everyone, my name is Natasha but my friends and family call me Tasha.  I’m the oldest of four; two sisters and a brother.  I was born and raised in Miami, Florida to a Jamaican mother and a Haitian father.  I lived in France for two and a half years where I learned to read, write, and speak French fluently.  I guess you can say that I am definitely a mixed breed, 🙂

For those that know me well, know that I have an INTENSE PASSION for Food.  You know the saying some people “Eat to Live, well I Live to Eat.” Ever since I was a little girl I was always fascinated with being in the kitchen and making different dishes.   I would always watch my grandmothers in the kitchen and try and imitate what they were cooking and baking.

A Little More About Me

I live in the sunny state of Orlando, Florida. I am married to an incredible man and we have three beautiful children who are the center of our world, Julian Charles, Kayla Simone & Jacob Raymond.  They are the most important things in my world and make each day brighter.

About ThatsSoYummy

ThatsSoYummy the blog was first created as an outlet for me to showcase different recipes I created or learnt growing up.  It has become a place where I can show my enthusiasm and delight creating all things yummy, from my different tales of cooking as a child to teaching and sharing recipes with my children.  It has been an incredible outlet to share my passion of food with so many that feel the same way.

I hope that you enjoy the shared recipes I have on my website as much as I enjoyed making and sharing them with you.
