Did you hear that Burger King is getting a new facelift… a massive new remodeling project is happening to increase sales for 12,000 locations worldwide. With sleek interiors that will include rotating red flame chandeliers, brilliant TV-screen menus and industrial-inspired corrugated metal and brick walls.

According to Chairman and CEO John Chidsey, who describes the overhaul as “contemporary, edgy, futuristic, just like an upscale restaurant.”

The overhaul will take several years to complete worldwide, and will cost franchisees a whopping $300,000 to $600,000 per restaurant.  The 60 outlets that have been revamped at the time have generated 12 to 15 percent more sales.
