Jamaican Curry Shrimp

When you think of Caribbean recipes do you automatically think of HOT. FIRE…. It all doesn’t have to be that way.  With this dish in particular Curry Shrimp can be made to suit your own taste buds whether that means mild or pepper hot.  Personally I LOVE my food with lots of kick and fire but not everyone has an iron stomach like me, just try my Curry Chicken and see what I’m talking about. 😉

The best part about this recipe is that its quick, easy, and healthy for you.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Have you ever tried Oatmeal Pancakes before?

If your shaking your head and saying No then you don’t know what you’ve been missing…

I made Oatmeal Pancakes this past weekend for the kiddies because I wanted to make something different.  Now we are a house that absolutely LOVES pancakes and I thought well lets shake it up a bit and make them this time with oatmeal.  Even though these pancakes need for you to soak the oatmeal in buttermilk the night before its well worth it.

Challah French Toast

Challah French Toast

Do you know how simple it is to make french toast?  It’s one of the most basic recipes you can have and make any time of the morning.  The best thing about making french toast is that we all typically have all of these ingredients; eggs, bread, and milk,  just lying around our house so its a great way to use up day old bread of any kind.  Plus who doesn’t love using a recipe from the lovely Ina Garten, Barefoot Contessa.

I happen to love making french toast with Challah bread and especially when you add different add ins like cinnamon and vanilla. I love thick slices of challah bread that is soaked in a egg/milk mixture with cinnamon, vanilla and sugar.  Frying the french toast with equal amount of butter and oil allow the challah french toast to have a crunchy exterior but a soft and fluffy interior.

The perfect breakfast recipe for any day of the week!

Then as I got older I had plenty of mishaps but finally got it together, here’s an easy way to cook delicious crispy bacon!
