Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere… Pumpkins Pumpkins have no fear!

I don’t about you but do you remember how I said a few weeks ago, when I shared Pumpkin Spice French Toast, everywhere I turn I see pumpkins surrounding me.

Well, it’s still true.

From big ones, to small ones, to medium size carving ones.  Pumpkin season is out in full force.  Not only are pumpkins great for craving and making silly, scary faces… but they are even better when roasted and used to bake and cook with.

I used to always buy canned pureed pumpkin, now don’t get me wrong I still use the canned stuff… but sometimes making your own is even better.

Homemade Pumpkin Puree is so simple and easy to make, you will find yourself running to the store and buying a pie pumpkin to bake.

Pumpkin Spice French Toasts

Pumpkin is popping up everywhere.  I mean pie pumpkins are out in the stores along with big ol massive pumpkins for decorating.  I guess the season is changing and fall is here.

Now even though it is still hot as sin — {exactly how hot is that to be precise??? I used to always wonder that when my mom would say that} — or how about hot like fire — you know you like that one. 🙂

IMG_1620

Anyways it hasn’t cooled down yet in these parts but fall is around the corner and that means my favorite time of year — the time where pumpkins begin baking.  I can’t wait to fill my house with the smell of pumpkin recipes.

There are so many I want to share with you…

I mean come on I know you all have some favorite pumpkin recipes, I would love to hear about them.

What would you say if I told you, you could eat ice cream for breakfast… would you?

IMG_1426r

If I could eat ice cream ever day I think I would.  I LOVE ice cream.  Ice Cream plain.  Ice cream with toppings.  Ice cream sundaes…

I mean it doesn’t really matter.  My favorite is chocolate with chocolate fudge.  When I was a little girl my dad used to take me and my sister at the time, to Carvel.

Do you guys remember Carvel?
