While visiting our friends over at Cookthink.com, we noticed a great post about “Ways to use stale bread.”
Now, I think we all have found ourselves in this little predicament of not knowing what to do with that left over baguette, or brioche.
In case some of you have ran into this problem here are a few ideas you can use to solve it.
So go run into the kitchen pick up that baguette, that is just sitting there half eaten, and lets get thinking!
1.) The most obvious one is of course breadcrumbs…. easy and simple.
2.) I always make my baked french toast casserole….. so yummy! You could always use it in a bread pudding as well.
3.) Make french onion soup….. ooohhhhh eeeeeee I love me some french onion soup (gotta write that down to make) 😉
4.) Make stuffing, great for thanksgiving stuffing.
5.) Whip up a breakfast casserole, need to find a good recipe to try this one on… (any suggestions?)
6.) Make a gazpacho
7.) Make some delicious croutons…. throw these on a salad.
8.) Bruschetta is always a great appetizer to try with not too stale bread. Grill slices then spread with olive oil and chopped tomatoes and even a little cheese.
Do you have any other suggestions?

If only other webmasters would do what you have done and build a really worthwhile site on the subject. Most of them load the pages with junk, but this is exactly what I was looking for – How To: Use Stale Bread | ThatsSoYummy.com. Thank you from a very grateful Carrie Mason
