On December 11, Disney will return to their heritage of hand-drawn animated musicals with the release of The Princess and the Frog. This new movie introduces an exciting beautiful new Disney Princess named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
The movie also stars Bruno Campos, John Goodman, Peter Bartlett, Keith David, Jim Cummings, Jennifer Lewis, Jennifer Cody, Michael-Leon Wooley, Terrence Howard, Oprah Winfrey, and the talented Anika Noni Rose as Tiana.
I was given the opportunity to see in depth a preview and backstage interviews with all of the fabulous stars for this anticipated princess movie, this year when I attended Blogalicious 2009 in Atlanta. Let’s just say that after the preview showing of the movie, all of the women including myself Oohhhheddddd and Awwweeedddd and almost wept with excitement for the coming up movie.
My daughter and I already have a date planned where we will be going to watch Princess Tiana on her journey with some of her her friends and mothers. The perfect mother daughter bonding 🙂
Which leads me to my next question…
Would you like to own a copy of Tiana’s Cookbook: Recipes for Kids?
This kid-friendly cookbook features recipes inspired by Tiana and friends in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. It also features simple instructions, large photographs, and charming art for recipes from Tiana’s Famous Beignets to Ray’s Mud Pie. In all it sounds like a charming and beautiful gift for a little princess to get this Christmas season.
I am giving away a beautiful copy of this adorable cookbook to one of the many that comment on this post.

My daughter loved to cook as a little girl. She was competing with me in the County and State Fairs when she was 6. My grandson seems to be picking up the same desire as he loves to help Mommy in the kitchen. This website encourages young children to become interested in cooking. I love your website and the tips.
